Is EGB Legit?
EGB is a legit esports bookmaker and online casino that has been around for enough time to be considered a trustworthy site. We will take a closer look and either confirm or deny that claim, but first, here are four things you should know about EGB:
- EGB is operated and registered with Thinbik Ltd., a subsidiary of Exedra N.V. (a company in Curacao).
- It owns a Curaçao license 8048/JAZ.
- EGB has been created specifically to cater to esports betting fans.
- The site has been operating since 2011
EGB owns an SSL certificate, meaning it provides a secure connection. It also owns a betting license that we were able to verify, so there is nothing that would in any way suggest this is not a legitimate website. But if you still have any doubts, you have to consider that EGB has been operating since 2011, and it's doubtful for a site to be online for over a decade had it not been legit. It should be noted that we didn't find the iGaming solution supporting them.

EGB Welcome Bonus & Promo Codes
If you're after an esports betting site with great bonuses and promotions, EGB is the place to be as a bookie with some of the best promotions in the industry. And it all starts with the welcome bonus, which does not require a bonus code and awards new players with a 100% matched deposit up to $600 or equivalent of any other currency.

How To Claim EGB Welcome Bonus
The best part of EGB’s welcome bonus is that you don't have to take any additional steps besides creating an account and making your first deposit, as there is no bonus code needed for you to be eligible for the bonus. So here is what you need to do to claim the bonus:
- Register on EGB.
- Complete the registration process and verify your account.
- Navigate to your account, make your first deposit, and enjoy the extra betting money.
But even though getting your hands on the welcome bonus is simple, there are a few things you should know. The welcome bonus has a minimum and maximum limit ($5-$600) and is released in five parts. So if you deposit $500, the $500 bonus will be divided into five $100 parts, which will get released one by one as soon as you earn the required number of points with your betting activity.
For each part of the bonus, you need to collect 10,000 points (50,000 in total), which you earn by betting – 10 points for each $1 wagered on a game with odds of 1.30 or higher. In other words, you will need to wager $5000 in order to collect the full bonus, but there is no time limit, so that's hardly an issue for active users.

EGB Bonus & Promotions (4.5/5)
EGB has an excellent welcome bonus, but it is not the only bonus or promotion you will find on the site. On the contrary, EGB has many promotions running, including bonuses that will appear when important esports tournaments are on schedule.
You can find all the available bonuses by clicking the "Promo" tab in the top menu, which will present you with a long list of currently available promotions. We were impressed to find out that EGB offers special promotions for each important esports tournament, and we found a $200 deposit bonus for the ESL Pro League Season 15 a couple of weeks before the tournament began.
Besides the promotions that pop up every time a major esports tournament is on schedule, EGB also offers random bonuses, such as the Chinese New Year Bonus, February Bonus, and many more. Moreover, we found prediction contests and promotions where you can earn rewards by giving gifts to other players on the site. All that is great, but it gets even better.
While most promotions will give you extra money to bet with, some will award you with Dota 2 and CS2 (CSGO) skins and cosmetic items similar to CSGOEmpire. So if you're a gamer who also enjoys betting on esports, EGB just might be the best esports bookie for you.
Overall, EGB's bonuses and promotions are exceptional, and there is enough variety to keep anyone happy. However, we were not too excited to see that you need to collect a large sum of points to get the full bonus, which can be a tedious task if you're not a high roller. Because of that, we're deducting half a point, but at least EGB does a better job with its offers than Duelbits.

Reputation & Safety (4.5/5)
EGB is a well-known online esports betting site, and while its online reviews are not perfect, EGB has an above-average rating (3.8/5), which is a good sign, knowing how critical most of the online reviews are. However, there are some negative reviews of EGB, which mostly complain about long withdrawal times.
We can't confirm or deny whether their complaints are true or false, but there are two things we must note. First, most of the withdrawal-related negative reviews are old, and there is no confirmed instance of EGB scamming its customers and not paying out the winnings. But that's hardly shocking since EGB is a licensed and legitimate website.
EGB owns a Curaçao License 8048/JAZ betting license, which, admittedly, isn't as reputable as some other betting licenses, but it still provides some degree of security. Furthermore, we were able to verify that EGB indeed holds the license, so it's fair to say that EGB is a legal and safe bookie.
And if that's not enough, EGB is owned by a legitimate business and is a massive name in the esports industry. EGB had previously hosted its own esports tournaments and was a sponsor of major esports events, such as OGA Dota PIT, OGA Counter PIT, and even the PGL Major Krakow 2017.
So if you're worried about the safety of EGB, remember that this is an esports bookie that has been around since 2011, is owned by a legitimate business, and has sponsored some of the biggest esports tournaments in the industry. Still, since it has a Curacao betting license, we can't give it a 5/5 rating.

Esports Markets and Odds & Betting Features (3/5)
EGB promotes itself as a project created specifically to support esports and to be the best esports betting site in the industry. With such a statement and having esports in its name, you would expect EGB to be the ultimate esports betting site, but that's not necessarily the case.
Although the quality of EGB's esports betting offer is solid, it can sometimes be very limited. During our testing, we have found betting markets on only four esports titles – Dota 2, League of Legends, and Hearthstone - which is far from great.
But after checking the offer a couple of days later, we found betting markets on a few more esports titles such as Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, Age of Empires, and even Quake. We were further told by customer support that EGB covers all big esports titles, including Rainbow Six, so while EGB does technically provide excellent coverage of esports titles, the markets might not always be available.
So even though you will supposedly be able to bet on all popular esports titles with EGB, don't be surprised if the markets are missing. Moreover, the odds quality on EGB is decent, but we wouldn't call it good. The offered odds on some games are very similar to the odds you could find on other betting sites, such as 1bet, but we have also found betting odds that were well below the industry average.
The overall esports betting offer on EGB is average, and it deserves an average rating.

Dota 2 Betting
As noted above, the offer of esports betting markets on EGB is fairly limited, and we cannot say many positive things about it. Even though EGB's customer support claimed that more markets should be added "shortly", that's hardly a good excuse.
During our testing, we found Dota 2 betting markets on only six games. In contrast, another betting site Rivalry, had over a dozen, and that's more of a testament of EGB's poor and irregular offer than anything else.
BET ON DOTA 2 AT EGB
Valorant Betting
EGB's market offer on Valorant was much better compared to Dota 2, but again, it was far from great. On a more positive note, EGB seems to cover all bigger Valorant tournaments; however, it does so poorly, with missing markets and very underwhelming odds quality.
That is not to say that you can't bet on Valorant and find some value bets, but we would keep an eye on the odds and how they compare to other esports betting sites. The main thing we can take away from EGB's Valorant offer is inconsistency. You will find both great and bad odds, just like you will be able to find games with a very generous selection of bet types and games where the only thing you can bet on is moneyline.
JOIN EGB
League of Legends Betting
Compared to Dota 2 and Valorant, the League of Legends betting offer on EGB is solid. The site covers all major and even some minor leagues, so if you're an LoL bettor, you won't be disappointed, but don't be surprised to find leagues with missing odds.
The odds quality, however, is the same as with other esports titles i.e. there are games where odds are better than what you would find on other esports betting sites, and there are games where odds are worse. Realistically, you can't find a bookie that can provide you with the best betting odds on all games, so we can’t criticize EGB too much for that.
It's also worth noting that EGB seems to have a nice selection of LoL betting markets that go well beyond moneyline. Admittedly, smaller leagues are still very limited in that regard. Still, if you're betting on LEC, LPL, LCK, or LCS, you can pick between moneyline, handicaps, totals, and even proposition bets.

User Experience (5/5)
EGB might be lacking in some areas, but the site is well made; it's fast, responsive, and works without any issues. On it, you will find anything you would expect from an esports betting site and more – even a separate page with the latest esports news.
EGB also has some added features we liked, including live chat, where you can talk to other users and exchange your thoughts and ideas on what to bet on. But from our experience, the chat is used for people to talk with each other and joke around, which is completely fine.
Other more betting-related features include live streaming options of all currently running tournaments and links to the official Twitch streams located at the top of the page. We tested out the streams, and they all worked well without any issues, which is always a plus.
All those features are great and will improve your betting experience, but there's more. EGB also offers playmoney betting on its site, which is an excellent addition, especially if you want to test out the site before you make your first deposit.
Among other things, EGB does differently than other esports betting site, EGB has a unique item system, allowing you to buy RPG-like items or get them in loot boxes and equip them for special bonuses. Most of the items' main function is to help you collect EGB points faster, which you can then exchange for free bets and other rewards, so you can look at it as a unique VIP program.
ESB might have its flaws, but it has enough features to make betting on it enjoyable. We found no issues in how EGB offers its service to customers, and we have no reason not to give it a five-star rating.
And did we forget to mention that EGB also has a mobile betting app for iOS and Android? Of course, it has that, too, with all the elements you can find on the desktop website – including live streams!
CHECK OUT EGB
Customer Support (4.5/5)
EGB has an FAQ and a live chat as the main two options you can use if you encounter any issues while using the site. We tested both and did not find any significant flaws with either.
The FAQ on EGB might not be the best we have found so far, but it's well made and does what it's supposed to – it answers all essential questions you might have about the site. Alternatively, you can contact a customer support agent by clicking on the "chat" button on the bottom right side of the site.
The live chat works smoothly, and we did not encounter any problems while using it. Furthermore, we got connected with an agent within less than a minute, and we did not need long to receive professional and accurate answers.
If you happen to have a more complex issue, EGB provides email addresses for each separate department and expects to receive an answer within a day. So the only thing we found missing on EGB is a phone number, but that hardly justifies a lower rating.
We don't have anything bad to say about EGB's customer support. It does what it's supposed to. Still, EGB’s FAQ section is not as good as on some other websites, such as Luckbox, so we’re deducting half a point.

Deposits & Withdrawal Options (5/5)
Depositing and withdrawing money from EGB is very easy and there are more than enough payment methods available. Note that some options will be location-restricted, but even with that handicap, you should be able to deposit or withdraw money from EGB with ease.
We have found over 15 different banking options during our testing, including Visa/MasterCard, Skrill, NETELLER, WebMoney, ePay, EcoPayz, Pay4Fun, WeChat Pay, PayPal, Crypto, and PaySafeCard. You can even deposit money into your betting account with gift cards or Skins Back, which allows you to fund your betting account with CS2 (CSGO) and Dota 2 skins.
Suffice to say, EGB has more than enough banking options available, and you can even request combined withdrawals – by choosing several payment systems to withdraw funds from the website.
If you want to cash out your winnings, you will have most of the same options available, but know that there are minimum and maximum withdrawal limits ($15-$10,000), depending on which method you choose.
The quality of the banking option is very important, but as critical as we can be, there is nothing about EGB's banking options that we didn’t like.

EGB Casino (3/5)
Nowadays, every gambling site has to have a casino, so it's only normal for EGB to have it as well. And not only does EGB offer an online casino, but it does a very good job at it. On EGB you can find over 8000 different casino games, including slots, roulette, poker, lottery, craps, crash, fishing, and many more.
Even more impressive is that EGB's casino offer includes games from over 50 different slots and casino game providers, including Yggdrasil, Relax Gaming, RedTiger, PlayTech, Pragmatic, Netent, IGTech, and more. If you need more variety, then Stake might be the site for you.
There's enough variety to keep any gambler entertained, but there are more things we liked about EGB's casino offer. All games have a demo version, allowing you to test them out before you risk your money, which is always a positive.
Unfortunately, EGB does not have a provably fair system (like CSGOPRIME), meaning you aren't able to manually check whether the casino games you've played were actually fair.
Even though there is no reason to doubt the legitimacy of EGB's casino offer, we have to give it a lower rating since the site – unlike CSGO500 – does not allow you to check whether the games are rigged or not.

EGB is a well-known esports bookie that does many things right and can provide a unique betting experience. Admittedly, EGB has its flaws, but we recommend anyone to check it out and see if it suits you. Just remember to gamble responsibly and be aware of the dangers of gambling addiction.
